Designs by Three of a Kind began in Richmond, VA in 2008 with the goal of creating unique, custom designed personalized stationery, gifts and accessories for any occasion. We have wonderful things for adults, as well as children and we design one of a kind items to match your style, personality and gift-giving needs! About Us... We are a mother and daughter who draw inspiration from each other and who are also best friends! We used to be three of a kind; however we lost our other best friend, Sarah, on October 23, 2003 after a 3 month, 12 day battle with an extremely rare and aggressive form of Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Please read about Sarah here. Sarah was truly one of a kind who gives her mother and sister inspiration each day to go on in her memory and so, we became Designs by Three of a Kind! Her dream was to open a gift boutique but her life ended before she could and so we founded this business as a tribute to her memory because we know that her spirit gives us our greatest ideas!
We have been blessed by the support of so many of you and now our family has grown to include the special little boy, pictured below, who will only know his aunt through the memories of others. We hope that each day you have good health, happiness and the love of those around you. Remember also to count your blessings!
