Customer Service & Refund Policy
PLEASE NOTE: When entering the "ship to" address on your order form, if it is not the same as the billing address, please do not be concerned if PayPal is showing an incorrect shipping address. This happens because of PayPal using the default billing address as the "ship to" address. The address you enter on your order form will be the address we use to ship your item, if you have entered something different than your own address.
Customer Service
Our number one priority is customer service and customer satisfaction.
You have heard that before, but we mean it sincerely and we will do
everything we can to make sure you are happy with your purchase and
your service. If you are not, we will make it right. We ask only that you be fair and reasonable with your request!
Payments
We
accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and your Debit card
through PayPal. Virginia shipping addresses should expect to add an
additional 5% in sales tax to the order. You do not need to have a PayPal account to order and pay for your purchase.
Shipping
We use the shipping method best suited for the fast and accurate delivery of your purchase. We work with many different vendors and only do business with those who satisfy our strict standards for customer service and care. Therefore, some items in your order may be shipped separately and could be received at different times and by different carriers. This method works to your advantage because your entire purchase will arrive quickly and parts of your order will not be held up due to the time needed for other items.
Many items ship in just a couple of days, most in less than a week. Some items do take a little longer due to the nature of the particular personalization needed and the process needed to complete it. Most often, your items will be shipped and delivered within a two week time frame from date of order (allow longer during the holiday season, November and December). However, please do allow 3 weeks for delivery for your package, especially if it is from Clairebella. If you need something FAST, please let us know before you place your order and we'll do our best to give you an estimate of when you should expect to receive it. It's always better to check first to see what options you have. Sometimes we are able to speed things up for you! In addition, you can expect to receive an e-mail from us when your order is placed with an estimate of shipping time needed, as well as an e-mail with a tracking number when your item ships, if available.
If you are local to the Richmond, VA Metro Area, you may order by phone and make arrangements for payment and pick-up. In this case, there will be no shipping charge if we have the item in stock. If the item must be ordered, a small shipping charge will be added. Many times your item can be ordered using a shared shipping method which will still save on your shipping charge by picking up locally. Please contact us for ordering information. (Note: If you order through our regular order process, and go through the check-out, shipping is automatically calculated and added to your order. We can't refund the shipping.)
Returns & Refunds
Due
to the personalized nature of our products, we cannot accept any
returns unless there is an error in personalization on our part, or the
product is defective. Please contact us immediately if you need to return something and we will make arrangements.
If
there is an error in personalization, and it is our fault, we will
replace the item quickly, and at no charge. If an
item that you receive from us is defective in workmanship or is
inferior quality, please contact us within 2 weeks of receipt, and we will make
arrangements to replace it. (After that, if an item you purchase does not hold up, we will decide the eligibility of your return on a case by case basis!) If an item is broken in shipment, we will
gladly replace that item as well. Again, please contact us quickly
with any problems or concerns so that we can make arrangements for return and replacement.
Original and return shipping charges will be refunded for any damaged items or items personalized in error only. Pre-approval MUST be received prior to return.
All other returns MUST be pre-approved by Designs by Three of a Kind. For these returns, no original shipping charges will be refunded for any reason and all return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. All authorized returns must be received in a timely manner.
In the event that a refund must be made, please understand that the refund will be issued through PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase or receive refunds from us. PayPal is the administrator of our shopping cart system. The refund will be credited to your credit card or other method which was used to pay through PayPal for your original purchase. We have no way of identifying your payment method, credit card number, bank account or any identifying information regarding your payment. Therefore, we cannot credit your payment directly but rather use PayPal to handle this for us. You will receive an e-mail from PayPal when your refund is made and available.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no refunds or exchanges on Tidewater Flip Flops unless defective. Measuring information is given. Please measure carefully before ordering! We know that you will love your flip flops but we want to make sure you understand that once purchased, they cannot be returned because you change your mind or because they don't fit! Thanks for your cooperation because this is a very strict policy of Tidewater Flip Flops.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and want you to be comfortable ordering from us. Any and all information collected on this site
will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, disclosed to
third parties or reused without your permission. Any information you
give to us will be held with care and will not be used in ways that you
have not consented to. We will never share your e-mail or other personal information with anyone.
